Education
- Part of a Physics Degree (from 2013 to 2017) at Universitat de Valencia.
I loved physics, specially in the lab, but it wasn’t for me so after 3 years I decided to look elsewhere.
- Degree in Computer Engineering (from 2017 to 2020) at Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia.
My prior experience ended up helping me as I was able to finish this new degree in 3 years with great marks and more focused on what I really wanted. Here I meet Professor Abellán, who saw potential in my and pushed me to be were I am today.
- Masters Degree in High Performance Computing (from 2022 to 2021) at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
After getting my degree I did this masters degree because I’m really into this kind of stuff and it’s related to computer architecture so I could become a PhD student unde Prof. Abellán.
- PhD about accelerating FHE (from 2021 to current times) at Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia.
Right now I’m doing my PhD about accelerating Fully Homomorphic Encryption on GPUs. Fully Homomorphic Encryption is a field of cryptography that makes it possible to perform operations on encrypted data without need for decryption.
Some things I also did
In 2018 I was part of the winning team at the Hackathon: Hackea tu destino event based in Torrevieja. We worked on a Machine Learning solution to predict water needs in the city.
From 2018 to 2019 I was an internal student at UCAM making a report about a Machine Learning Suite and how it would fit in the department. Those two years I volunteered as a representative from my department in a stand at the Semana de las Ciencias y las Tecnologías, a science fair in Murcia.
In 2019 I voluteered to help clean the damages from the DANA floods, it happened while I was still in the US working as park service in the Elitch Gardens theme park, so I feel a bit indebted.
That year I volunteered to help at a stand in the Día de Internet another small technology fair in Murcia.
From 2019 to 2020 I received a collaboration grant to develop the IT system of BiofitPark, a project that aims to create smart park furniture for exercising. The project has both a Web App and an Android App to handle exercise routines according to the needs of the user. The Android App would read the repetitions of the exercise using accelerometers.
